Closing Ceremony
A Closing Ceremony is a scared and beautiful ceremony carried out throughout history across the world, for when you are closing-off a chapter/phase/passage in your life.

A Closing Ceremony is an incredibly personal event.  Before the day of the ceremony, we will meet to talk about what you are closing off (some example's below), I will hold space so you can share as much of your story as you feel comfortable doing.  I will support you to curate your list of 'sisters' to invite along, I suggest no more than 8.  You sisters could be made up of your mum, sisters, friends, aunts, cousins etc.  Anyone who you wish to witness your closing in all its rawness.  They can be very emotive, so choose your list carefully.

On the day of the Ceremony I will come to your house approx. 1 hr before we are due to begin.  We can hold a guided relaxation, do some breath work and sink in to the moment.  If you have a young baby or child, it would be helpful to have someone who you can delegate their care to such as your partner - we can pause for breastfeeds.

Once your sisters have arrived, we will gather in a circle to open the space for you to share your story.  This can be a few words or many words.  It's your story.  We will then proceed to your bathroom where I have prepared a beautiful warm bath for you to sit in, while you are cleansed by your loved ones and blessings & promises are made.  We will then invite you to step out of the bath, when you are ready.  Your sisters will towel dry you and then lead you to your space where you lie down to be massaged.  The feeling of many hands on you, taking each limb is unlike anything you would have experienced before.  During the drying and massage there will be laughter and story sharing.  And then comes the closing.  We will wrap and close you, thanking each part of your glorious body and self for being. Once you are closed we lay our hands on you transferring positive thoughts and energy into you while you lay there approaching your re-birth. The final stage is for one or two of your closest sisters to unwrap you while we cheer and sing to greet the new version of you.

If your home does not have a bath tub, we will work with what it has.  We can bath and cleanse your hands & feet before massaging and closing.
